Securing a place
Your booking is only confirmed once you have paid the course fee in full. (We don’t take deposits, just full payment.) We take payment by phone on debit or credit card.
You will receive a printed receipt form your tutor at the start of the course.
We very rarely cancel courses. We don’t have a minimum number or bookings before a course will run. In this way everyone can be confident that the course will run and you can set your diary.
In the event that we do cancel a course it would be due to external factors such as covid or if a tutor is ill. We will always try to run the course on the date advertised, so may employ another tutor. Otherwise we will postpone the course to a suitable date. We will refund any fees to anyone who cannot make a new date.
If you have to cancel a course due to illness or changes to your availability we will offer a refund if we can find a replacement. We often have reserves for places, but we need 2 weeks notice to be able to guarantee we can fill a place. Any shorter notice than this we will do our best but cannot guarantee a refund.
We try to get your confirmation letter and let you know what to bring and prepare for the course as soon as we can. We do this by e-mail, so make sure you provide a correct e-mail address. If you haven’t heard from us firstly check your spam folder.
We send the confirmations to courses when the course is full as it’s easier to manage and administer than drip feeding confirmations out to each booking. This will be at least 2 weeks in advance of the course, but often earlier. We don’t like to send an introduction letter out too early however as people forget and lose the e-mail. If the course is getting close and you haven’t heard anything let us know by e-mail or phone call. We’ll do our double checks and send it again.
